Origins of the Valager Lounge
In the year 2102, Valager Shipping & Handling became a small-time delivery company based in the Solar System, founded from humble beginnings out of the roof of an old police station in the City, Newport.
The very same city played host to the foundations of the Newport Space Patrol, a paramilitary organisation dedicated to the protection of Sol and it's inhabitants through the use of Guerilla Warfare. The NSP was also run by VSH's Company Owner, Elso Valager.
From 2102 up to 2110, Valager Shipping & Handling grew into a majority stockholder of many companies and began to merge and grow, expanding from a mere delivery company up to a logistics, production, R&D, and service-offering Corporation, renaming itself to The Valager Corporation. Through Ruthless and professional tactics, Valager Corp cornered the market on everything from lamp shades to star ships on both Earth, and across the Solar System, running crushing deals and promotions to remove all and any competition in Sol.
Now, in the year 2113, The Valager Corporation operates primarily out of Earth, employing an estimated 94.3% of the planet's population, along with having it's own Navy, Valager Corp Naval, that protects Sol and it's inhabitants with superior firepower and gusto. Amidst it's many branches, include an intense R&D Department for new Terran-based technologies.
Developed in secret at first as an escape location, the station you now stand on is the latest in Valager Corp entertainment facilities, The Valager Lounge. Originally designed as a giant safehouse of sorts for our CEO, the Lounge has been re-purposed as Elso's personal hangout, with an open bar and a great many facilities and services offered to patrons and prestigious staff alike.
